No it's not that important....
to take that phone call while sitting on the toilet... What is it with people today - do you really need to answer or make that call at that exact moment? Whatever happened to telling people that you're a little busy and you'll call them back... I just hope you washed that phone after flushing!!!!!

Amazing....
I've been checking out the blogs here on blogspot and I came across these two blogs that just caught my eye, RochesterCCPhotography and Josh's Photo Vortex . The photos on these blogs are just unbelievably great! So if you get a chance, check them out! I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
After looking at these blogs, it really got me thinking. Since the age of 12 - I've always had my camera close by and always snapping away. Even had my own darkroom, which I spent a lot of time in... But as I got older and had kids, jobs started to become more demanding, the camera slowly but surely, got pushed aside. Now I'm starting to have the urge to pick it back up. I really miss those days of jumping in the car and going off on an adventure, camera in hand... The pure joy of it. You can still find me with my camera at the sporting events, but it's not the same.
So maybe, just maybe this weekend, I will pick up that camera and take a little adventure...

Will this week ever end...
Getting my ass kicked around in work this week and I'm just totally confused at the shit that's been happening... Guess I need to re-evaluate how I handle things and just take a back seat...
Well no big plans for the weekend - have to miss Cait's field hockey game tomorrow night, and that's just pissing me off. Really want to be there but the game's at 6:15 and I don't leave work until 5pm. It takes me about an hour to get home and another 20 minutes to get to the game. They have to leave at 5:30pm - so it looks like I'll miss this one.
No much else is happening...

Congrats!
Last night, I had the honor of attending the Western Burlington County Jr./Sr. High School Honors Band concert. My daughter, Sam, was part of this wonderful night. I can't tell you how enjoyable this concert was.
The Western Burlington County Honors band is made up of 11 different schools. Then it's broken down into two bands (high school and junior high school). Sam had the honor of playing for the junior high school. What amazes me is the amount of time they practiced before the concert. They had a total of 14 hours of practice before performing last night. Unbelievable, when you think that these kids have never played together and the conductor is someone they met at the first practice. They were just amazing! They sounded so good, and the trumpet section was awesome!!!!
I must make mention that much of the credit goes to the band directors from each of the schools. They lay the foundation for these kids and what a great job they did.

Text message...
Here's a text message I received from my daughter, Sam, while I was at parent/teacher conferences:
"You dont have watse your breath i know im probably grounded for two to three weeks. Its my fault i am gonna suffer the consequences."
I thought it was hilarious (so did her teachers) - and to be honest - it wasn't as bad as she thought...
